If you have been into drones, even the very slightest bit of interest, you have heard of DJI. They more or less are the premier drone brand. Given I have not tried any other brands, I can only comment on what has been in my hands and this drone has been built pretty solid if you ask me!
Usefulness - 5/5 stars
How often have you thought, "If only I could see what's up ahead..."? Or maybe you thought, "I bet this would be a really awesome view from above!" but of course you don't own your own helicopter or anything fancy like that. Well, enter the recreational drone! It can do all that and more in about 20 minute increments! Pretty darn useful for all sorts of things!
Cost - 2/5 stars
I will admit, owning a drone was the very last thing on my list and that was largely due to cost. They are outrageously expensive if you want a worthwhile drone. Naturally a drone is not something you want to just buy on cost. You want one that you can depend on and will hold up in case of collision with things or if you lose signal and want to recover it with a return-to-home function. Of course you can dump some of those features and get yourself something cheaper if it's worth it to you.
Overall - 5/5 stars
Like anyone who has a drone, knows about drones, or is reading this right now (that's you), you know what this is worth to you. There are so many things you can do that make a drone more than worth the cost and effort! As you will see on this site going forward, I will definitely be upping my game in the photography and storytelling departments!
