2025 Camping Season Kick Off!

It's now late June, almost July.

Same as 2024, the temperatures are hitting and exceeding the 90° mark more consistently; my least favorite temperatures to camp in.

And speaking of camping, I HAVEN'T! At least not in 2025.

Not yet. Just like 2024.

Unlike 2024, the reasons for being behind on camping are many. From the near constant rain and severe weather to the now near constant high heat, all the usual contributors to my lack of camping, none of these compares to the newest factor, MY SON!

That's right, we're a team of 3 now and I can't get camping with the new guy just yet. Conditions need to be as perfect as possible so as not to have a bad time and make sure we can squeeze in a few trips this year when possible.

With minimally tentative plans, it's hard to see how things will pan out. What I do know is 1) this camping drought will not last and 2) one way or another, I will get my 5 in again this year!
